Get to Know Me

Hi!! My name is Hannah Joy

I am a photographer/videographer located in Fort Wayne, Indiana. My life passion is to capture amazing moments for amazing people, whether they live in my home town, across the country, or across the world.

I have been practicing the arts since 2010, and I cannot remember a time when I didn’t have a camera by my side. I have traveled to 43 states in the U.S. capturing photos and videos for my amazing clients, as well as spent time in South Korea shooting film for a documentary. Currently, I am finishing my senior year at Huntington University studying film and entrepreneurship. I have won several awards for my art, including three Student Emmys and the Golden Lion Film Festival, as well as several other film festivals and photography competitions.

I specialize in weddings; but I also have lots of experience working with children, animals, and other types of shoots. If you ask me, I can probably do it!

The name of my company is not only inspired by my middle name Joy, but it is based on the value I aim to bring to every client’s shoot: the joy of the Lord!

My
Story

I began my photography journey at the age of 11 when my dad gave me my first camera. I took pictures of everything and everyone and truly fell in love with the art. I began working on feature film in high school and doing BTS photography. When I reached college I began focusing my business more and more and that is when I discovered my love of capturing pictures of couples, weddings, and lives greatest memories. There is something truly special about photos of two people who have a deep bound and love for one another, a family who is having fun and making memories, or a grad who just had a joyful achievement. I love giving fun & sweet poses or prompts, showing through the lens who you truly are! I make it so you don't have to worry about needing to be "photogenic" or know how to pose, I will make sure you look your beautiful & natural best.
